Project and Task Manager Checklist
By now I hope you are developing the idea that I think differently to the mainstream approach to management. I was educated in the mainstream. However, I am frequently concerned by people using the mainstream ‘one size fits all’ solution.
Some of these points are standard mainstream logic but I would not be confident if most of the replies to these questions are “Yeah it’s fine, it’s under control’.
In any project or task I look to see how many of these questions have been addressed sufficiently to discover which issues need addressing and in what sequence. Its not necessary to have a single approach but a careful understanding of why its not working can lead us directly to the most effective response in terms of time and costs.
Each point in the checklist is relatively straight forward to address when planning project tasks, however it’s an entirely different matter and proposition when the project falls behind schedule.
